Description

台灣土肉桂，是台灣中海拔常見的樟科植物之一，亦是台灣特有種
有別於國外的肉桂，不需要取樹皮或樹枝就能製作香料，它的葉子中就含有大量的肉桂醛。
肉桂醛具有香、甜及辣的口感，其甜度約為蔗糖的50倍，因此被大量添加在食品中以增加食物風味及天然防腐。
因為台灣土肉桂，取葉子低溫研磨，故呈現淡淡的綠，風味也略有差異。
