產地介紹

比亞外Piyaway，位於桃園復興鄉大漢溪上游的泰雅族小部落。

比亞外部落已有200年歷史，只有十餘戶、人口不足百人，依循祖靈Gaga的指引與自然共存，團結自立，自給自足，以農事維生，隨著四季的交替耕種不同的作物，小小的部落生產著枇杷、水蜜桃、甜柿、甜蜜李…等美好作物。

傳統的比亞外狩獵文化規範了打獵季節與儀式，絕不獵捕幼小與懷孕的動物，只拿取足夠族人生活的資源，對大地的微妙觀察、對萬物的尊重，結合現代保育觀念，建立保育生態的共識。
